maybe the most perfect day if i do say so myself. avatar the last airbender live in concert film orchestra. avatar the last airbender, possibly the greatest show ever??? with the most emotional amazing soundtrack being played LIVE?? RIGHT IN FRONT OF LITTLE OLD ME???? how lucky am i.
i'm SO LUCKY because in addition to the beautiful music i got to spend time with my friends :D i got to walk around the city and eat delicious food and narrowly avoid getting in a streetcar accident with them!! the best of times. lots of love for those guys.
4/15/25 || i think it's actually kind of crazy that i'm sitting here typing words on my computer and i have something to show for it that i'm actually extremely proud of. like. i'm putting words onto my blog page and writing an entry just for the hell of it because i've been working on my site all day and i'm feeling mad inspired. I LOVE MY WEBSITE!!!!! i've always been interested in programming but to be honest i was scared away from it in high school when the only language i learned was java. I enjoyed the problem solving part of it, but what it lacked, and what i realize now i desperately needed, was a way to be creative with it god damn! i can't believe it took me this long to find html/css because this is my SHIT!!! WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN ALL MY LIFE???

4/25/25 || i'm back back back back back again and i'm watching rupaul's drag race season 17 for the first time less than a week after it ended airing and a winner was crowned (ONYA NURVE LFGGGGG) because i like my drag race WITH spoilers! definitely not the optimal way to experience the show or any piece of media to be honest but it's the way i live. you show me a spoiler warning for something i've never seen and i will in fact swipe to see it. i just can't resist it for some reason. which makes it hard when i DON'T want spoilers for something and i see them anyway... because this season the yellowjackets official instagram was straight up posting main character deaths HOURS after the episodes were airing like i know you need the engagement now more than ever girl but a warning would be nice!!
spoiler ranting aside i really love rupaul's drag race and every time i come back to it i remember how good it is and how i find it strangely uplifting? i started watching it when i was 12 and for many obvious reasons, i probably shouldn't have been watching it at that age, however its messages about self-love and confidence were SO IMPORTANT for me to be seeing and absorbing as a pre-teen girl. the first season i saw was season 8 because it was the only one available on netflix at the time and at the end of the season bob the drag queen said something in a confessional about how they learned to love themself and find confidence that was so important for me to hear as an insecure little kid and has stayed with me to this day. i have wanted GOOD fire emblem profile icons for years... the engage ones are so limited and even the characters they do have are stuck forever in the wierd fire emblem engage genshin impact ass art style... and now after all this time we're being fed... BUT THEY'RE ONLY ON SWITCH 2... WHICH HAS NO FIRE EMBLEM GAMES ON LAUNCH... AND IS 700 DOLLARS... AND THE UI LOOKS THE SAME... this is what i get for thinking nintendo ever cared about the players LOL...

7/9/25 || three days ago i officially hopped the proverbial game company loyalty fence and bought a ps5. i had been wanting a way to experience the current generation of video games for a while now, since for the past 8 years i've only had a nintendo switch to my name and wasn't able to play many game of the year contenders and top-trending games that i saw everyone talking about all over social media. but now i can. and i'm THRILLED!!! starting up the system for the first time and playing astro's playroom..... my god.... why was i feeling emotional going through all the playstation generations and collecting all the accessories as if i've been a loyal fan my whole life..... it's crazy to me after being blinded by ultra capitalist corporate nintendo for so long to experience a first party game that plays and feels like it was made with LOVE! love for the video game medium and love for the player. and all this from the free tech demo that comes with the system. um. ok. i'm sorry sony i was unfamiliar with your game! like imagine if nintendo did something like astro's playroom where every level was designed after a previous console filled with references to past beloved games and characters..... the world would possibly explode. but they would never make it and sell it for under $100. man.
